How do I add a direct contact?
By default, team channels and hidden channels will populate the contacts list of a user for one-to-one communication.
If you have dynamic channels set-up, and would like to add direct contacts for one-to-one conversations, follow these steps.
- Sign in to the management console and navigate to the Users section to select a user.
2. Click "+" and select who needs to be added as a direct contact for that user.
Adding direct contacts to one user will automatically populate the direct contacts for the other users.
In this example, adding "0001 (Meryl Haynes)" as a direct contact for "0004" will automatically update the contact list for both users so that they can initiate one-to-one conversations.
