How do I add a direct contact?

By default, group channels and hidden channels will populate the contacts list of a user for one-to-one communication.

 

If you have dynamic channels set-up, and would like to add direct contacts for one-to-one conversations, follow these steps.

 

1. Sign in to the management console and navigate to the Users section to select a user

2. Click "+" and select who needs to be added as a direct contact for that user

Adding direct contacts to one user will automatically populate the direct contacts for the other users.

In this example, adding "Meryl" as a direct contact for "Zack" will automatically update the contact list for both users so that they can initiate one-to-one conversations.
