How to set User and Channel profile pictures from the Console

Network administrators save time and gain additional control over their customization of their network. This way, they can make a network more user-friendly, easier to find users and channels by just looking at the picture and making every interaction with Zello a visual - on top of the acoustic - experience.

How it works

A. User Profile Picture

  1. Navigate to your admin web console and sign in
  2. Navigate to the Users from the Menu

  3. Click on the user that you would like to add/change their profile picture

  4. On the User Details window, click Upload New Image

  5. Select the picture you would like to upload and click Upload
  6. The picture should be updated. If not, try reloading the page.

How to clear or replace the existing user profile picture

After Step 3, if there is an existing profile picture, you will have the option to either Clear Image or Upload new Image.

Note: App users are able to change their profile picture as well at any point - even after the admin sets a different picture from the console

 

B. Channel Profile Picture

  1. Navigate to your admin web console and sign in
  2. Navigate to the Channels from the Menu

  3. Click on the channel that you would like to add/change its profile picture

  4. On the Channel Details window, click Upload New Image

  5. Select the picture you would like to upload and click Upload
  6. The picture should be updated. If not, try reloading the page.

How to clear or replace the existing channel picture

After Step 3, if there is an existing channel picture, you will have the option to either Clear Image or Upload new Image.

Note: App users are not able to change channel profile pictures. Only the admins can do that via the console.
