1. To create a User Role, sign in to your management console.
2. Select the Channel that will have roles.
3. Add a Role.
4. Define the Role.
Name: Assign a name to the Role.
Type: Select if the role will be able to Speak to anyone, Speak to selected roles, or be Listen only. If Speak to selected roles is chosen, then check which roles this role will be able to speak to.
Can't disconnect from channel: By default, users will be able to disconnect from a group or dynamic channel when a User Role is defined. Turn this feature on to remove the option to be able to disconnect from a group or dynamic channel.
Can send alerts to channel: By default, Channel Alerts can not be sent in a channel. Turn this feature on to allow the Role to send Group Alerts in the channel.
5. Click Continue and Assign Users to the Role. Once completed with Roles, set up should look similar to the following:
